Before and After
The top pictures show what has been removed.
The new photos on the bottom were printed using UV printng technology on brushed aluminum panels and suspended with 1/8 stainless steel aircraft cable. The photos in the middle of the pavilions are 80 inches tall x 96 inches wide, the outside photos are 80 inches tall x 80 inches wide
The park information concrete signs have been removed to open the walk way up and replaced with new park entrance signs on the North and South sides of the park. The park name signs mounted on the walls have also been removed as well.
We designed the top of the new signs to have the profile of the "Memphis Bridge" at the top. A friend who I showed it to said that it looked like an
"Open Bible" which I believe is also very fitting.
We seleceted three of Dr. King's most iconic speeches to display in the heart of the park.
We designed the podiums to have the lettering cut out and backed with brushed aluminum. They were constructed for us by Metal Fab in Somerville.
